Nóra Lukács is an art historian and independent curator. Currently she is a PhD candidate with an Elsa Neumann Scholarship at the Humboldt-Universität Berlin, where as a guest lecturer she taught courses on archival research methods. Together with Melanie Roumiguière, she is currently finalising a comprehensive research and exhibition project on the legacy of the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program. Prior to that she was working for the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen in Düsseldorf where she curated exhibitions of Pamela Rosenkranz (2017), Alberto Burri (2016) as well as a collection presentation in K21. She was also part of the curatorial team of the research project museum global and the resulting conference, event series and exhibition Mikrogeschichten einer ex-zentrischen Moderne in K20, responsible for the presentation of Amrita Sher-Gil, Niko Pirosmani and Mexican Modernism (2018). Before relocating to Germany, Lukács worked in Budapest at the Goethe-Institute. She also realized curatorial projects for the Modem Art Center in Debrecen and for Igor Metropol Budapest, an independent art association, of which she is a founding and board member until today.
